If you enjoyed or were interested in Science Spectacular last week, then this challenge is for you! We had so much fun last week experimenting and investigating, that we decided to add another Science, Technology and Engineering challenge right away!
Did you know that the UAE is planning a mission to Mars! Join us in figuring out the Science! This challenge provides project based learning opportunities about the Solar System and Planets Science. In this project-based learning challenge, you'll research what it takes to be an astronaut, how much it will cost to launch your equipment into space, and review the scientific method. In this challenge you will be the Scientist, Engineer and Architect! You'll learn using science, art, geometry, math, design and problem solving! First we will research all the planets before developing a spaceship or solar system. Next, you'll develop and design a space station building for a colony on a new planet. Each concept builds upon the next and culminates in designing a building. Liftoff with this awesome challenge and prepare for learning takeoff!
Two weeks; 6 mentor hours; Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 09:00 am - 10:00 am. On your off days, work on assignments set by your mentor for the next lesson.
